Recreate Collection

This work began with an existing landscape painting that I chose specifically so I could paint into it adding to the story of what was already there.

Naomi was inspired by the work of artist Steve Forster and reinterpreted within the landscape painting I picked up from a local op shop.

This painting explores the idea of recreating something from something that already exists, bringing together an older painting, contemporary portrait influences, and my own artistic hand to form a new story.
